I have to say that i  never had the possibility to check the reformulated version, however the 2012-formula undoubtedly drives me crazy but that’s in a good way.
I typically dislike fresh, sharp citrussy fragrances therefore I had to persuade myself to go and check out this but boy was I wrong after many minutes it transforms into a mild, elegant scent full of tobacco notes.
This is fresh, herbal, floral with just a hint of citrus. The base does not standout very well however in to my nose this is slightly masculine with some pepper and a little bit of tobacco.
It’s well balanced and quite completely different than the average fragrances for men. It smells elegant and polished. This is  leaning more within the suit and tie direction than jeans and T-shirt.

Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme  re-edition is aromatic and has a dry and floral character that opens notes of tangerine, bergamot and neroli. The center consists of a lavender, sage and pepper mix that cleverly blends with the  base  tobacco, cedar and tonka accords.

The top question here, is it really androgynous? In my opinion this tends to be very near unisex. It does have some masculine qualities however not abundant. If you’re searching for something clearly masculine this may not be for you.
